Caritas Philippines is using the Kobo Collect app to monitor threats to biodiversity across four sites within its Bamboo Forest Project in Western Visayas. We’ve successfully geotagged bamboo locations, which allows us to effectively track and address potential threats. 
The Kobo Collect app goes beyond bamboo. It allows us to gather comprehensive data on various species and ecosystems within the project area. This data will be instrumental in informing conservation efforts and establishing sustainable management practices. Ultimately, this initiative aims to safeguard the rich biodiversity of these four areas for the benefit of present and future generations.
