Our Governance

Caritas Philippines works with the social action centers of the 86 dioceses all over the Philippines. Every two years, the social action workers from the 86 dioceses meet for the National Social Action General Assembly (NASAGA) to discuss the Catholic Church’s social action works.

As the national Caritas, Caritas Philippines represents the Philippines to Caritas Internationalis, a global confederation of 165 member countries based in Vatican. Caritas Internationalis is currently headed by the Archbishop of Tokyo, Archbishop Tarcisio Isao Kikuchi, SVD.
