Caritas Philippines’ Alay Kapwa Expanded Fund Campaign hosted an orientation on December 5, 2023, to engage various sectors in bolstering the campaign’s reach and impact. Participants included representatives from Archdiocesan commissions, academia, businesses, civic groups, and the Jaro Archdiocesan Social Action Center Inc.
Rev. Fr. Carmelo “Tito” Caluag, campaign head, and Ms. Analyn Julian, Caritas Philippines’ Resource Mobilization Head, led discussions on key topics like forming sub-regional teams, ensuring transparent and proper fund utilization, and establishing a diocesan core team with the Archbishop, Social Action Director, Oeconomous, and other designated members.
Fr. Caluag stressed the importance of localized efforts and collaboration to maximize outreach and community involvement. He also underscored the need for meticulous fund allocation, guaranteeing resources reach intended beneficiaries.
