Philippine Faith-Based Organizations (FBO PH) Caritas Philippines, PCEC-Philippine Relief and Development Services, Inc., the National Council of Churches in the Philippines (NCCP-Act Alliance), in partnership with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Antipolo-Social Action Center of Antipolo, and the Rizal Ecumenical Movement, joined forces to provide humanitarian relief to communities affected by Super Typhoon Carina in Rizal.

Joint Humanitarian Response

On August 31, 2024, FBO PH conducted a joint humanitarian response in Barangay Sta. Ines, Tanay, Rizal. Through pooled resources, the organizations successfully distributed food and non-food items to 256 Dumagat beneficiaries who were severely impacted by the enhanced southwest monsoon caused by Super Typhoon Carina in July.

This marked the first-ever joint humanitarian response by these organizations, demonstrating their commitment to working together to address the needs of vulnerable communities during times of crisis.
